Hello 2025 & Greetings from Sea!
Blogging is a way for me to self-reflect on my learning journey and experiences in my small but fascinating world of technology. I have accumulated some knowledge about Cloud computing, and I may have a unique perspective on the tech landscape in Thailand and ASEAN. I’d love to share these insights with you and hopefully spark some engaging discussions along the way.
Connecting people easier and faster
My passion lies in connecting people and enabling them to collaborate more easily, do things that they value, especially when done together. After all, we humans are likely to be social creatures at heart. My background is in telecommunications engineering, but over the years, I’ve found myself drawn to the operational side of the Cloud. Developing services and products to achieve this is becoming a lesser pain in the back by the day.
Finding a sustainable lifestyle & growth
As I’ve progressed in my career, I’ve noticed an interesting challenge: how can we foster personal growth while maintaining a professional career in a non-ideal living circumstances? This observation has led me to believe there’s a great opportunity to encourage personal growth, starting with sharing my own journey. Hence, the name ‘seaindev’ comes from ‘InDev’, which not only refers to a software development lifecycle but also symbolizes life being ‘In Development’.
Beginner at writing and the future
Blogging is not new (appears to have been in the early 1990s; the Web 1.0 era), but I am, so let’s make it at-least at a Web 2.0 one! In retrospect, I have tried blogging in the past with some random articles here and there. But this time, I want to create a space for long-term mutual reflection on self-growth and technology, and hear your thoughts on it. For old times’ sake, here’s a sample of what I wrote back on July 23rd, 2021, when generative AI was at bay and looking back, there were some major global events happening during that time.
Start Believing It Could Be Done — Life is too short to deny yourself the opportunity. We all have desires and things we want to achieve in life. Some left these goals to slowly fades without considering the possibilities. For some others, they’re in disbelief it could be done. Never say It Couldn’t Be Done, rather How It Could Be Done. We should be open enough to dream the possibilities and outcomes of our actions, revise plans to achieve them, and act to accomplish them. Despite positive or negative results, we will always gain benefits from it. Having a positive belief and working towards it is a job half-done. Believe in yourself and dream about what you could achieve in acting upon it.
Looking back, it’s interesting to see how these thoughts still resonate, especially in the context of our rapidly evolving tech landscape and commodities helping turn idealization closer to realilty.
My goal with this blog is to explore and share insights about how technology, particularly Cloud computing, can simplify and enhance our quality of life. I’m especially interested in examining its impact on everyday people and showcasing life in Thailand through this lens. While I humbly share that the opinions in this article are my own, you can expect to find high-level insights on emerging technologies, their potential applications, and perhaps a few anecdotes about living and working in Thailand’s tech scene.
As for my posting schedule, I’ll be honest – it might be a bit irregular. I want to take the time to organize my thoughts and share meaningful content rather than sticking to a rigid schedule. In the future, I would like to propose an RSS feed where you can follow on your readers. The use of generative AI will benefit me in properly structuring my writings based on my first draft.
Here’s to many more conversation ahead!
I’m looking forward to this journey of discovery and discussion. Whether you’re a tech enthusiast, a curious observer, or someone navigating the intersection of technology and culture, I hope you’ll find something valuable here. Let’s learn and grow together in this ever-changing digital landscape.
